She had recently stopped working in the Medical Department of the Roche subsidiary in Argentina together with Carlos Barclay, and with her experience she began to organize the administrative aspects of the care of people with HIV/AIDS that we cared for in the Hospital, and later, support for research studies. They were intense years, where everything was yet to be done.

With her seriousness, commitment and humanity, Susana became a reference for our patients and for the entire team. In the year 2000, when the expansion of our group's research activities required other horizons, she helped us set up and organize the ESPRIT Foundation first, and then the IBIS and CICAL Foundations, until she decided to retire. In recent years, Susana continued to help us by integrating the IBIS Foundation Board of Directors, of which she was a Member until today.

Her honesty, fidelity and affection marked all of us who worked with her. We are going to miss her.
